This has been my first time visiting but my favorite vegan restaurant of my current trip to New York City. Priya and Wendy were extremely attentive and provided us with delicious options and over the top customer service. Priya helped me with my drinks and dessert selection as well, and it was all delicious and on point. We will certainly be back, and to this location specifically!

Excellent experience! This place is all about these amazing warm bowls - hearty stews and comfort food. They've got about 7-8 different pots simmering away, and they mix and match from these to create everything on the menu. What's cool is you can see exactly how they're making your food, and they don't cut corners on the authentic ingredients. The flavors are seriously good. And when they serve it, they layer all these different elements from the various pots into this beautiful presentation. Definitely worth returning! (The picture had food appropriated from my friend:)

Stepping into La Botaniste on 42nd Street, directly opposite the vibrant Bryant Park, is like discovering a secret garden amidst the Midtown bustle. I was so captivated by its unique charm and exceptional offerings that I found myself returning twice within a single week – a testament to its truly special atmosphere. From the moment you walk in, the ambiance washes over you. It's a delightful and almost bohemian blend of art deco, experimental design, and European flair, with quirky touches like chequered floors, charming wine posters, and a surprisingly large, hanging carrot that adds a dash of whimsy. This chic, contemporary, and organic space feels less like a typical restaurant and more like a fun, inspiring sanctuary, even with its bright, natural light. The staff, with their almost "mad scientist" vibe as they craft their amazing concoctions and dishes, are wonderfully committed to ensuring a positive experience for every visitor. The food is where La Botaniste truly shines. Everything is freshly made daily, promising a wholesome and heartwarming experience. On my first visit, I was lucky enough to snag the last few scoops of their vegetable tagine, and it was nothing short of delicious – a home-cooked, organic masterpiece with a perfect mix of fresh, vibrant vegetables. On my second visit, the soup of the day was equally good, further solidifying the consistent quality. What's truly remarkable is how La Botaniste balances quick, efficient service with an unspoken invitation for mindful, slow living. It's a place where you can grab a quick, healthy meal without feeling rushed, yet you're encouraged to truly savor each bite and give the wonderful food your full attention. Leaving La Botaniste after both visits, I felt not just full, but profoundly satiated, happy, and at peace. It's an excellent choice for anyone seeking high-quality, organic, plant-based food that offers great value for money in an outstanding location. La Botaniste isn't just a meal; it's a holistic, nourishing escape in the NYC madness.

Organic food in NYC! Gluten-free and plant based it looked pretty nice, good interior, bright lights.. it wasn't busy on a Friday night. We ordered carrot ginger soup 9/10, pasta bolo 8/10, Tibetan mama 9/10 and a side dish.(I don't remember the name) Everything looked so fresh and colorful on our plate definitely enjoyed our dinner and we were lucky to find this gem right around our hotel in NYC.

Great place with healthy vegetarian options! I got a bowl of soup and my friend got a chili bowl, both were delicious. White wine is served chilled, my friend enjoyed it. The atmosphere is light and welcoming. Staff were also helpful with selection and answered all our questions. I really liked the interior design of this place.

Le Botaniste elevates all expectations of fast casual and vegan organic dining! It is the place you go to when you want something healthy, nourishing and unprocessed to feel good from the inside out! I love all their entree bowls that are flavorful and so filling! Definitely recommend the chili sin carne, Moroccan stew and be sure to get their meatballs made of beet and chickpeas. I also loved their baked treats and desserts. Will definitely be back to try more!
